Our story began in 2016 behind the makeup chair. Working directly with diverse skin every day, founder Karma saw the same story unfold repeatedly: compromised barriers, chronic dehydration, and sensitivities masked under layers of cosmetic products. Real skin health could not be painted on. It had to be supported at the barrier.

That realization sparked a deeper exploration into plant chemistry, lipid systems, and intentional compounding, evolving BARE by Karma from an artisan project into a dedicated botanical formulation house.

We reject mass-market shortcuts padded with inert fillers, synthetic texturizers, and empty bulk. Instead, every BARE product is formulated in small batches from the ground up, pairing bioactive botanicals with targeted lipid profiles designed to restore your skin's natural balance.
